Offer letter template

The offer letter is the last mile of recruiting - it should feel like good news, read in one pass, and leave zero ambiguity about role, pay, and start date.

What Magnus asks for

The candidate's name, the job title, the salary or compensation package, and the start date. All optional - blanks stay [placeholders].

Generate it in four clicks

  1. Open FILES from the top navigation and switch to the TEMPLATES tab.
  2. Click the Offer letter card - a short form opens listing the details Magnus can use.
  3. Add the candidate, role, compensation, and start date.
  4. Click Generate. The draft lands in FILES, ready to edit or export as PDF, DOCX, or Markdown.

Tips

  • State the full package - base, equity, benefits - so there's nothing to renegotiate later.
  • Send it fast; offer-to-acceptance rates drop with every day of silence.
  • Have HR or counsel confirm local employment-law specifics before sending.
