Client onboarding template

The first two weeks decide how a client relationship feels for a year. An onboarding doc sets expectations while enthusiasm is still high - Magnus drafts the whole runway.

What Magnus asks for

The client, the services to be provided, and the timeline. All optional - blanks stay [placeholders].

Generate it in four clicks

  1. Open FILES from the top navigation and switch to the TEMPLATES tab.
  2. Click the Client onboarding card - a short form opens listing the details Magnus can use.
  3. List the services and the first milestones you already know.
  4. Click Generate. The draft lands in FILES, ready to edit or export as PDF, DOCX, or Markdown.

Tips

  • Include a 'what we need from you' list - client-side delays are the top onboarding killer.
  • Send it within a day of the signed Service agreement, while momentum is real.
  • Set the communication cadence explicitly: which channel, how often, who's the contact.
