Retrospective template

Teams that never look back repeat their mistakes on schedule. A retro turns a finished project into three lists that actually change behavior - Magnus structures yours from raw notes.

What Magnus asks for

The project name, what happened and how it went, and what went wrong or caused friction. All optional - blanks stay [placeholders].

Generate it in four clicks

  1. Open FILES from the top navigation and switch to the TEMPLATES tab.
  2. Click the Retrospective card - a short form opens listing the details Magnus can use.
  3. Be blunt in the what-went-wrong field - a polite retro is a wasted retro.
  4. Click Generate. The draft lands in FILES, ready to edit or export as PDF, DOCX, or Markdown.

Tips

  • End with at most three action items, each with an owner - or nothing changes.
  • Blame processes, not people; the format survives only if it's safe to be honest.
  • Add the action items as goals in the GOALS tab so the retro has teeth.
