Payment reminder template

Chasing money is awkward, so people put it off and cash flow pays the price. This template writes the reminder for you: polite, specific, and clear about what happens next.

What Magnus asks for

The client, the amount due or invoice number, and the original due date. All optional - blanks stay [placeholders].

Generate it in four clicks

  1. Open FILES from the top navigation and switch to the TEMPLATES tab.
  2. Click the Payment reminder card - a short form opens listing the details Magnus can use.
  3. Add the invoice number and due date so the reminder is unambiguous.
  4. Click Generate. The draft lands in FILES, ready to edit or export as PDF, DOCX, or Markdown.

Tips

  • Send the first reminder the day after the due date - waiting weeks teaches clients to pay late.
  • Stay factual: invoice number, amount, date. Guilt is less effective than clarity.
  • Ask Magnus to schedule a recurring reminder so no unpaid invoice slips through again.
