Project brief template

Projects drift when nobody wrote down what 'done' means. A brief pins it: the objective, the deadline, and the deliverables - one page everyone can point to.

What Magnus asks for

The project name, the objective, the timeline, and the key deliverables. All optional - blanks stay [placeholders].

Generate it in four clicks

  1. Open FILES from the top navigation and switch to the TEMPLATES tab.
  2. Click the Project brief card - a short form opens listing the details Magnus can use.
  3. State the objective in one honest sentence and list the deliverables you already know.
  4. Click Generate. The draft lands in FILES, ready to edit or export as PDF, DOCX, or Markdown.

Tips

  • Write the objective as an outcome ('cut onboarding time in half'), not an activity ('build screens').
  • Track the project as a goal in the GOALS tab and let Magnus check in on progress.
  • Regenerate the brief when scope changes - a stale brief is worse than none.
