Know your channels

Lists the public and private channels the connection can see, so you can say #general or the design channel and Magnus knows where to post.

Posts a message to any channel by name or ID. Magnus shows you the text in chat first - you approve the wording, it hits Slack.

How to connect

  1. Open Settings → Connections in Magnus.
  2. Click Connect on the Slack card and pick your workspace in the popup.
  3. Approve the requested scopes - reconnect once if you connected before DM features shipped.
  4. Ask Magnus to list your channels to confirm.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Slack autopilot?

An optional feature that periodically checks your direct messages and drafts replies in Magnus for you to approve. It never answers anyone silently by default.

Can Magnus read every channel?

Only what the granted Slack scopes allow. Listing channels shows names, not full history - Magnus is built for posting and awareness, not surveillance.
