Slack integration

The Slack integration installs Magnus in your workspace. From chat you can ask what's happening in any channel and post messages; connect it once and the auto-reply feature (see the Slack auto-replies guide) can also hold the fort in your DMs.

What it unlocks

  1. List your channels and read recent history - "what did I miss in #general?".
  2. Post messages as the Magnus app - "tell #eng the deploy is done".
  3. Auto-replies: DMs and @-mentions answered by your assistant, in-thread, using your own AI model.
  • If you connected Slack before auto-replies existed, reconnect once - the DM permissions were added later.
