Connect Notion and your workspace becomes something Magnus can actually use: search pages and databases by title, read a page's content into the conversation, and create new pages - meeting notes, briefs, checklists - filed under the parent you choose.

What Magnus can do

Search your workspace

Finds pages and databases by title, or lists the most recently edited items. Only pages you've shared with the integration are visible - that's Notion's permission model working for you.

Read a page into chat

Pulls a page's content in as plain text - headings, lists, to-dos - so Magnus can summarise it, answer questions about it, or build on it.

Create pages for you

Creates a new page with a title and body under an existing parent page. Dictate the content in chat; it lands in Notion formatted as paragraphs.

  • Find my product roadmap page in Notion.
  • Summarise the 'Q3 planning' page.
  • Create a page under Meeting Notes with today's decisions.

How to connect

  1. Open Settings → Connections in Magnus.
  2. Click Connect on the Notion card and approve in the popup.
  3. In the Notion dialog, select which pages to share with the integration.
  4. Ask Magnus to search your Notion to confirm - share more pages any time from Notion's Connections menu.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't Magnus find a page I know exists?

Notion only exposes pages you've explicitly shared with the integration. Open the page in Notion → ••• → Connections → add Magnus, and it becomes searchable.

Can Magnus edit existing pages?

It reads existing pages and creates new ones. Editing in place isn't part of the current toolset.
