Connect X and Magnus can see your account at a glance - handle, bio, follower counts - and publish posts or replies you've drafted together. It only posts when you explicitly ask, so your feed stays yours.

Know your account

Reads the connected account's handle, name, bio, verification status and follower/following/post counts.

Publish posts and replies

Publishes a post (up to 280 characters), optionally as a reply to another post. Magnus drafts in chat and only posts on your explicit go-ahead.

How to connect

  1. Open Settings → Connections in Magnus.
  2. Click Connect on the X card and authorise in the popup.
  3. Ask Magnus for your X profile to confirm the connection.

Frequently asked questions

Will Magnus ever post on its own?

No - the posting tool is instructed to publish only when you explicitly asked. Drafting and posting are separate steps.

Why did my X connection stop working?

X access tokens are short-lived and refresh automatically. If a refresh is missed (for example after a long offline stretch), reconnect once in Settings → Connections.
