How to connect

  1. In your Shopify admin, create a custom app (Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps) with read access to products and orders.
  2. Install the app and copy its Admin API access token.
  3. Open Settings → Connections in Magnus, choose Shopify, and enter your store domain plus the token.
  4. Ask Magnus for your store overview to confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Can Magnus change my store?

No - the Shopify tools are read-only: shop info, products, orders. Nothing is created, edited or refunded.

Why a token instead of a sign-in popup?

Shopify's Admin API is per-store: a custom app in your own admin issues the token. That keeps access scoped to exactly the permissions you granted it.
