Magnus has a face and a voice. The 3D hologram lip-syncs everything he says, keeps eye contact, and reacts to you - and the whole voice pipeline can run privately in your browser.
The head is a real-time 3D render with lip-sync, eye contact, idle glances, and moods - he looks tired late at night, celebrates wins, and reacts when you poke him (yes, click him). Several looks are available, including an analogue-clock mode, and the hologram's glow follows your chosen accent colour.
Hover the stage's arrow to grow the hologram into a theatre view; the swap arrow trades places between the conversation panel and the hologram if you prefer chat in the centre.
Two engines are available in Settings → VOICE. The local engine synthesises speech in your browser with WebGPU - nothing you hear ever leaves your machine - and downloads its model once, in the background. The browser engine uses your system's built-in voices and starts instantly. Magnus picks the best available automatically and you can pin either one, choose voices, and adjust the speaking style.
Voice output is optional - mute it and Magnus is a silent, fast, text assistant.
