OpenAI (GPT) on Magnus

The OpenAI provider brings the GPT family to Magnus. Answers stream live into the chat, images are understood, and your OpenAI key does double duty: it can also power one of Magnus's text-to-speech voice options.

The models

Voice

With an OpenAI key on file, the voice settings offer an OpenAI speech engine alongside the built-in local and browser voices - a natural-sounding option that needs no GPU warm-up.

Getting it

Bring-your-own-keys: paste your OpenAI API key in Settings. All-inclusive: the GPT models are included in your monthly credits. Model choice is per-agent, so a GPT-based persona can sit right next to a Claude one on the same team.

  • Integration tools (Gmail, Calendar, Slack actions) are Claude-only today - on GPT, Magnus is a brilliant conversationalist without the robot arms.
