Type and press Enter to send; Shift+Enter inserts a line break. The composer grows with your text. Drag images in, paste screenshots straight from the clipboard, or attach files with the paperclip.
Type / at the start of the composer to open your prompt snippets - reusable prompts you save once and fire with two keystrokes. Pasting a large block of text offers smart actions (summarize, extract tasks, and more) as one-tap chips.
While Magnus answers
Answers stream in token by token, and Magnus speaks them aloud if voice output is on. A Stop button aborts a response mid-stream; a skip control jumps the speech without stopping the text.
When Magnus offers choices, they appear as quick-reply chips under the answer - tap one instead of typing.
After the answer
- Hover (or long-press) a message to copy it, edit your own message and resend, or regenerate Magnus's answer.
- Give an answer a thumbs up or down; a thumbs-down lets you steer the regeneration with what you wanted instead.
- Reply to any earlier bubble with a quoted reply - the quote travels with your message so context is never ambiguous.
Finding things again
The magnifier in the chat header searches the current conversation. The command palette (Cmd+K / Ctrl+K) searches everything - commands, settings, and full chat history including archived chats. Deleted chats go to the Trash for 30 days before disappearing forever.
