Notifications & installing the app

Magnus reaches you when it matters and stays quiet when it doesn't - and installs as a real app on desktop and phone.

The notification bell

The bell collects everything noteworthy - new files, goal progress, waiting items - with an unread badge. It is the quiet, in-app history of what happened while you were away.

Push notifications

Enable push in Profile → MORE and reminders, briefings, and nudges arrive even when the tab is closed. Some pushes carry action buttons - snooze a reminder or mark a task done straight from the notification, without opening the app.

Notification preferences let you switch every category on or off individually; the app icon shows a badge with waiting items where the platform supports it.

Installing as an app

  1. Open Profile → MORE and choose Install app (or use your browser's install option).
  2. Magnus gets its own window and icon on desktop; on phones it lands on the home screen.
  3. Once installed, you can share text and files from other apps directly into Magnus.
