Pick your AI model
The first time you enter the app, Magnus asks which AI provider you want to run on: Claude, OpenAI, or Grok. On the Bring-your-own-keys plan you paste an API key for the provider you choose; on the All-inclusive plan the models are already included and no keys are needed.
You can change provider or model at any time later in Settings, and even give each agent its own model.
Meet the dashboard
The centre of the screen is Magnus himself - a live 3D hologram that talks, looks at you, and reacts to what happens. Around him: the conversation panel, your goals and progress, the workspace with files, and the agent bar with your team of AI personas.
A short guided tour highlights each area on your first visit. You can skip it and revisit everything at your own pace - every panel is self-explanatory and nothing is more than two clicks deep.
Your first conversation
- Type into the composer at the bottom of the chat panel and press Enter.
- Ask for real work, not just chat: "Draft a one-page partnership proposal for ACME", "Build a bar chart of these numbers", or "What should I focus on today?"
- Use the Stop button if a long answer is heading the wrong way, then steer with a follow-up.
- Set your company profile and mission early (Profile → COMPANY): every answer gets sharper once Magnus knows who you are and what you are building.
- Add two or three goals right away - they anchor everything else Magnus does for you.
First-run helpers
Three helpers smooth the first week. The guided tour spotlights each area of the dashboard step by step - rerun it any time from the command palette. The setup checklist in the left column tracks the five things worth doing first (model, company profile, a goal, a document, a memory note) and deep-links to each. And the What's New card appears once per release so you never miss a new capability.
